Registered Nurse in intensive and critical care and was awarded her PhD in 2019.
Anna was seconded to the NMC as part of the Regulatory Review of Advanced
Practice, as the nursing representative for Wales, and is involved in several projects
around Advanced Practice, collaborating with colleagues across the UK and globally.
Anna is the programme lead for the MSc Advanced Healthcare Practice programme
at the School of Healthcare Sciences, Cardiff University.
Melanie leads exciting and forward-thinking projects in collaboration with key organisations like the Centre for Advancing Practice, NHS England, and the College of Radiographers.
She plays an active and influential role in several professional communities, including the College of Radiographers (CoR), the Association of Advanced Practice

At Sheffield Hallam University, Melanie is the programme lead for the accredited MSc Advanced Clinical Practice Radiotherapy and Oncology, supporting the next generation of advanced practitioners within this specialism.
Sue is a Reader at the University of York with a focus on supervision and advanced practice.
